(Film) presentation of wafer cakes made by Royal Kentalis, the wafer bakery in Sint-Michielsgestel where people with a disability in hearing and communicating work. Anne Vegter, former Poet of the Fatherland, has made a poem for this purpose. Social label> KOEK was developed by Petra Janssen (Studio Boot) and Simone Kramer (C-mone) as a symbol for shaping a social economy in which no one stands aside. You can taste these specially made cakes in the Werkwarenhuis.

(Film)presentatie van hostiekoeken gemaakt door Koninklijke Kentalis, de hostiebakkerij in Sint-Michielsgestel waar mensen met een beperking in horen en communiceren werken. Anne Vegter, voormalig Dichter des Vaderlands heeft speciaal hiervoor een gedicht gemaakt. Social label >KOEK is ontwikkeld door Petra Janssen (Studio Boot) & Simone Kramer (C-mone) als symbool voor het vormgeven van een sociale economie waarin niemand aan de kant staat. In het Werkwarenhuis kun je deze speciaal gemaakte koeken proeven.

WORKSHOP Joy of Work

The workshops of care organizations Reinier van Arkel and Cello provide live workshops of the narrative service Social label> KOM. All makers have been interviewed. This resulted in a wealth of stories depicted in illustrations (‘tattoos’) by graphic designer Edwin Vollebergh (Studio Boot). Each maker chooses their ‘tattoos’ on the crockery. Together it forms a family.

The audience is invited to witness the making process, getting to know the creators and to hear their stories.

De werkplaatsen van zorgorganisaties Reinier van Arkel en Cello verzorgen live workshops van het verhalend servies Social label >KOM. Alle makers zijn geïnterviewd. Dat leverde een rijkdom aan verhalen op verbeeld in illustraties (‘tattoos’) door grafisch ontwerper Edwin Vollebergh (Studio Boot). Elke maker kiest zelf zijn ‘tattoos’ voor op het servies. Samen vormt het een familie.

Het publiek wordt uitgenodigd het maakproces te bekijken, kennis te maken met de makers en begeleiders en hun verhalen te horen.
